Red Flag Symptoms

  • Chest pain or pressure
  • Difficulty breathing
  • Severe headache (worst of your life)
  • Sudden weakness or numbness
  • Confusion or altered consciousness
  • Suicidal thoughts

Contact your doctor for:

  • Persistent symptoms (lasting weeks)
  • Worsening symptoms despite treatment
  • New or unusual symptoms
  • Symptoms interfering with daily life
  • Concerning patterns you've noticed

Tips for Effective Symptom Tracking

Be Specific

Instead of vague:

  • "Not feeling well"
  • "Something's wrong"

Be specific:

  • "Throbbing headache, right temple"
  • "Nausea after eating"
  • "Sharp pain in lower back"

Track Consistently

Regular logging:

  • Even on good days (log "no symptoms")
  • Note when symptoms are absent
  • Track improvements, not just problems
  • Create complete picture

Use the Severity Scale Consistently

Calibrate your scale:

  • 10 should be your worst imaginable
  • 1 should be barely noticeable
  • Use the same standards each time
  • Be honest, not dramatic or minimizing

Add Context

Always note:

  • Time of day
  • Recent activities
  • Food or drink consumed
  • Medications taken
  • Sleep quality
  • Stress levels

📊 Pattern Discovery

After logging symptoms for 2-3 weeks, ask your AI assistant to analyze patterns: "What triggers my headaches?" or "When is my fatigue worst?" The AI can identify correlations you might miss.
